I’m Lou, a qualified Mat, Reformer, and Pre & Postnatal Pilates instructor, trained in Australia and now based in York.
My classes are positive and flowing, with options for all levels from beginners to advanced—so you can always learn something new, challenge yourself, and feel supported while moving with confidence.

After practicing Mat Pilates for many years I was keen for an added challenge with Pilates based principles and that’s when I tried the reformer and was instantly hooked! Shortly afterwards I trained with Balances Body and became an instructor. I am passionate about teaching others the versatility of the reformer and how we can all life a long and strong life at any age!
