I’m Lou, a qualified Mat, Reformer, and Pre & Postnatal Pilates instructor, trained in Australia and now based in York. 

My classes are positive and flowing, with options for all levels from beginners to advanced—so you can always learn something new, challenge yourself, and feel supported while moving with confidence.

- My classes are varied and avoid a repetitive approach.

I absolutely adore the Pilates method.  When practiced correctly on the mat and on the reformer with the right springs for both the body and the exercise it truly delivers results.

I continued my studies at the University of Chichester graduating a 2:1 degree in Dance Performance in 2023. In my graduate year, I had

  

Hi, I’m Izzy! My journey began at a very young age where I found my love for dance. After which, I departed from the UK for my travels to Australia and South East Asia!
 

My journey with Pilates began whilst living in Australia, participating daily in both mat and reformer classes. In my sessions, I aim to create an inclusive, enjoyable and welcoming environment where you leave feeling empowered and confident! You can expect a blend of technique and precision whilst always feeling the burn with a little bit of spice added to all my classes!

Barry Vardy is thrilled to be guest teaching at pureform. With over 16 years teaching Pilates here in his home town of York. He classes will deliver a unique blend of Pilates and stand-up comedy.
